All products offered by Home123Furniture.com come with a full warranty which covers 100% of manufacturer construction defects and product defects.
Prices quoted do not include delivery fees. Most products can be shipped
via UPS or similar ground service as they are packaged ready-to-assemble
(KD-knocked down) in flat cartons. If ground delivery is not available
or you have special delivery instructions, please include instructions
with your order or contact us directly to discuss your needs.
Larger orders will be shipped by truck line. Please note: when shipped
via truck line, there is an additional charge for in-home delivery. Basic
truck charges provide for only destination (tailgate) delivery. If you
choose to have tailgate delivery, you are responsible for transferring
the merchandise from the truck to the residence or office. The trucking
line will contact you prior to delivery to ensure that someone is home to receive
the merchandise.
When your order is delivered, be sure to inspect it carefully for damage.
In the case of delivery via truck line, all damage must be noted on the
freight bill at the time of delivery. Freight damaged items, so noted, will
be replaced at no additional charge. Please notify us by phone (773-942-7053)
or mark@home123furniture.com of any damage
as soon as possible so we can immediately initiate the replacement process
with the manufacturer and/or the trucking company.
Important! If there is concealed damage to the product (e.g. cartons
appear perfect at delivery and no damage is noted on delivery receipt)
truck lines will not give 100 percent replacement value and Home123 cannot
assume the difference. You are responsible for verifying the condition
of your merchandise upon receipt. Please inspect it carefully for shipping/handling
damage prior to signing delivery receipt.
In the case of damage when shipped UPS, FedEx, or similar ground service,
please respond as follows. If the package is obviously damaged, you can
refuse delivery. Call us immediately so we can initiate the replacement
process. Any damage found after opening your boxes and examining the merchandise
should be reported to us as soon as possible to expedite the replacement
process.
To protect yourself if you receive damaged merchandise, always keep the
shipping cartons until your claim has been acknowledged and settled by
the shipper. If you accept damaged merchandise, the shipper has the right
to inspect the original shipping cartons before honoring your claim. Disposing
of cartons prior to filing a shipping damage claim may limit your ability
to receive reimbursement or replacement for those items.
Delivery outside the United States (plus Alaska and Hawaii) is available at extra cost. Charges vary with the items being shipped and their destination. contact us for a free estimate. Duties and applicable taxes on items shipped outside the U.S. are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Home 123 accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, cashier's check, personal checks, and money orders. Please note: personal checks will delay shipment of your order by several days while your check clears. We do not offer C.O.D. terms.
All returns should be made within seven (7) days of receipt of merchandise by you. (This does not include items identified as damaged, as long as you have notified us as instructed.) We do not refund the shipping charge should you choose to return the item. You are responsible for freight charges to return the items to us as well as a 20 percent restocking charge. Merchandise to be returned must be packed in the original shipping cartons with items padded and secured.
We must collect state sales tax of 10.25% on items shipped within Illinois. Blame Mayor Daley. In other states, customers are responsible for compliance with any applicable "use" taxes that may apply.
